The strike last night was a bitch and a half and even when I was done, I couldn’t sleep because my phone was ringing off the hook. But this afternoon, things looked up. I read a book infront of the fire and I got a massage at the spa before we all had a nice dinner and played the FUNNEST GAME EVER!!
Each player puts six names of real or fictitious well-known people into a hat. The players are split into teams. The game consists of 3 rounds. In round one, you can talk like the person, act like the person, mention specifics from the person’s life… anything you want as long as you don’t mention any of the words of the person’s name. For example, for Betty Boop, you can’t sing “Boop boop be doop.” You also can’t have any duplicate names in the hat. The object is to get your team to guess as many names as possible within one minute. If you’re the person acting things out and get to a name you don’t know or can’t do, you can pass and move on to the next name in the hat.
In round two, you can only use two words but you already have heard all the names of the people in the hat so it’s not as hard as you think. For Betty Boop you could say, “Cartoon Vixen.” Still, your team has to guess correctly as many as possible within a minute. You can still pass when you please.
In the last round, it is completely silent geastures like charades. Remember, the teams have already heard what is in the hat and can just shout out all the options.
