It rained a little today and there were rainbows!!

I got to drive Rupert Murdoch around on a golf cart before schmoozing with some really cool execs from Starbucks - my new best friends!!

I am doing an event this week at a huge movie studio in LA and today is my first day on the lot.  I was super worried this morning after driving for hours in a blizzard back to Salt Lake to catch my flight.  Everyone on planes out of Chicago or that have anything to do with Chicago (or even those people for whom the word Chicago just maybe flashed across their brain for a nano-second,) was delayed.  I did not want to be late to work and someone must love me because my flight was ON TIME!!!

Hats off to Vickie - I can’t believe you were able to get us back to town alive.

Vickie, Josh and I went yuppie sledding today. The weather was gorgeous in both Salt Lake and in Park City.

We went to the theater last night.  I cannot believe how incredibly rude the theater staff at the Ahmanson can be.  They spent ten minutes in the second act moving people around after lengthy discussions (not in a whisper let me point out) about who was in the right/wrong seat and naturally these discussions went down right in front of us.  So irritating.

When we got home, we were all starving so we gobbled down some cheeseburgers and began a lengthy conversation about anything and everything.  Somehow we got to the topic of handicapped kids and Brad and I described one Saturday morning some years ago when we happened to catch the Special Olympics on tv.  In the middle of our detailed description of the gymnastics part of the event, Chris MacEwan remarked, “…really puts the tard back in leotard, doesn’t it?!”

I swear I couldn’t breathe for about 5 minutes.  Wow.  Such a simple statement yet I’ve never heard it before.  Mac is BRILLIANT.  Love him.

I’m trying to convince Lesley (seen here at her birthday party at Saints & Sinners last Sunday) to join me in Denmark in a couple weeks.

Why have one birthday party when you can have 2??

We finished our closets today after upteen thousands trips to Home Depot and the Container Store.
